Mirror Reports Elite 'Red Ring of Death'
The Daily Mirror, a national British newspaper, has reported overheating problems with the new Elite 360.

The Xbox 360 was well known for the so called "Red Ring of Death" malfunction, it has been today revealed that the same problem still exists with the new console, the Xbox 360 Elite.

Affected consoles have to be shipped to Germany for repair, where Microsoft have set aside £500 million to get consoles back up and running.

This is not the first time Microsoft have had problems with their gaming hardware and accessories, in 2003 the company had to recall power adaptors, because they caught fire.

Four years later, in 2007, Microsoft has to organise a product recall for steering wheels after they too, overheated.
